Enter Rankings from the Interview Committee

In this example, we will record our Interview Committee's summary rankings of the applicants for Job Opening 9664.

1.  / Click the Recruiting link.
2.  / Click the Find Job Openings link.
3.  / There are a number of ways that you can search for a Job Opening.
In this example, we know the specific Job Opening ID.
Click in the Job Opening ID field.
4.  / Enter the desired information into the Job Opening ID field. Enter a valid value e.g. "9664".
5.  / We do not want to limit our search by Status, therefore, we will make the Status blank.
Click theStatusdrop-down list.
6.  / The Status drop-down list appears.
Click the Blank option in thelist.
7.  / Click the Search button.

9.  / In order to better see the entire screen, we will reduce the size of the Navigation Menu.
You can always unhide the Navigation Menu by clicking the Expand button or pressing Ctrl+Y on your keyboard.
Click the Collapse (Ctrl+Y) Menu button.
10.  / Notice in the upper left corner you are able to unhide the Navigation Menu.
We are on the Job Opening page.

11.  / There are 8 applicants for this job, as indicated by the number in the blue Applicants bar.
If there were more applicants, you might need to use the arrows to see all of your applicants.
12.  / Column headings (yellow and circled in this picture) allow sorting.
As you work with the Interview Committee, there are a variety of ways you might be given information. You might get a list of all the "No" rankings and at a later period be given a list of the other rankings.
In this example, we have been given a list of names and the corresponding rankings.
It is easier to do the work if we organize the list. We will sort by Applicant Name.
13.  / When we select the Applicant Name, the list will be sorted by Applicant's FIRST name.
Click the Applicant Name column header.
14.  / Notice the Applicant list is sorted by first name.
We will now record the summary rankings of the Interview Committee for each applicant.
Although the ranking column is titled, "My Status", this is not the place to record your personal ranking of each applicant, even if you are on the Interview Committee.
You are acting as the Originator and this is where you record the combined rankings of the Interview Committee.
15.  / The Interview Committee gave Big Bird a ranking of "No". The applicant never sees this value. By having the rank of "No", this does not limit the available actions at a later time.
Remember, in this example, we are only entering rankings from the Interview Committee.
Deselection of an applicant is done as a separate action. For more information see topic, "Deselect Applicants".
16.  / We will now record the Interview Committee rank for Big Bird.
