The 2008 Organization meeting was called to order by President Stan Peterson at 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the Cambridge American Legion Club.

MOTION by Mora, SECOND by Hinckley “To accept the minutes from the January Organization meeting.”

New Business
All Star Game - After a short discussion about the format for an All-Star game within the League the following motion was presented. MOTION by Hinckley, SECOND by Milaca “To schedule the AL-Star game for Sunday, July 12th in Isanti at 4:00 pm.”

League Rosters - MOTION by Mora, SECOND by Milaca “To Grandfather the 2008 Eastern Minnesota North and Eastern Minnesota West player rosters so new contracts will not be required for the new 2009 Eastern Minnesota League.”
VOTE: Yes 6, No 0, Not voting Princeton
League By-Laws – Each Manager must be prepared to review and/or discuss the by-Laws with the game umpires.

MOTION by Isanti, SECOND by Hinckley “ToRetain the following Officers for the Eastern Minnesota League: Stan Peterson President, Jay Pautzke Vice President, Tim Burkhardt Vice President, Jim Brennan Secretary-Treasurer.”

2009 Playoff Schedule
MOTION by Chisago Lakes, SECOND by Hinckley “To play a double elimination playoff schedule with the dates being Tuesday July 28, Thursday July 30, Saturday August 1, Sunday August 2, Tuesday August 4, Thursday August 6.”

MOTION by Chisago Lakes, SECOND by Hinckley “To play a three round League schedule.”
