Scope

The overall aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for discussion on inter-faceted approaches that can contribute to measles elimination in the EU. A special focus will be on:

-  Presenting ECDC comprehensive measles framework: programme planning and self-assessment methods, evidence based behaviour change, focus on vulnerable and under-served population groups, capacity building in communicating the risks;

-  Debating the most efficient strategies, discussing of the role of health promotion and behaviour change in measles prevention and elimination.
