Dynamic private commercial real estate development and investment firm is seeking an experienced Marketing and Leasing Coordinator based in their Tampa, FL headquarters. This position is responsible for marketing of the firm’s nationwide portfolio of retail and mixed use assets, and assisting in leasing the portfolio, with the potential for greater leasing responsibility over time. The position reports to the Asset Manager and provides an excellent entry opportunity into Florida’s premier private commercial real estate firm. Depending on experience this position will pay $50,000 - $60,000 annually with an excellent benefits package.

Marketing responsibilities (60%) include:

· Development of shopping center marketing plans and budgets to drive traffic, increase tenant sales and improve customer awareness.

· Creation and execution of email marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and increase tenant knowledge of the firms’ space availabilities.

· Familiarity with Constant Contact, Vertical Response and other email marketing systems.

· Creation and execution of direct mail marketing campaigns targeting “mom and pop” tenants for each specific property as required.

· Update property brochures every two months to insure accurate listing of tenants and available spaces.

· Other property and vacancy specific marketing as needed.

· Review and update existing marketing platforms (Loop Net, etc.)

Leasing Responsibilities (40%) include:

· Tenant canvassing and cold calling to generate qualified leads.

· Working closely with the Asset Manager on leasing vacancies and tenant relations.

· Preparation of LOI’s and deal involvement from LOI through lease execution.

· Preparation of monthly leasing reports as needed.

· Coordinating tenant construction and build out with construction management and property management.

· Preparation of annual leasing budgets.

· Track existing leases and work with tenants on lease renewals and related issues.

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years experience in direct and email marketing and leasing..

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Publisher, Corel Draw, Photoshop and other graphics software used in the preparation of brochures and marketing materials.

· Some negotiation experience and a working knowledge of retail leases.

· Ability to work independently in an exciting, fast paced environment.

· High level organizational and follow-up skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Bachelors’ degree preferred but direct experience equally valued.
