Criteria for evaluation by faculty sponsor:
VASCI DEPARTMENT PRACTICUM (298/398/498) – Usually off-campus under the guidance of a faculty member for credit. A 3 credit practicum consists of working about 9 hours per week for the entire Spring or Fall semester (14 weeks). Departmental practica are limited to 3 credits per semester and are graded on a pass/fail basis.
To enroll in a VASCI practicum, please bring the original completed contract to the Undergraduate Program Office, ISB 427Z. Please keep a copy for your records. Practicum courses can be added to your schedule by the Department only. Summer practica are processed by the CPE office.

Students need to have a faculty sponsor and enter their placement details in the CareerConnect system.
The student submits a written report to the faculty sponsor. Most faculty sponsors require that a journal of activities be kept and a final report that integrates both the work and learning experiences into an overall evaluation be submitted.
