ACME BRICK Shooting Range

Registration Begins 12:00 PM

Safety and Instructions/ Load Trailers for departure 12:30 PM

Competition Begins Promptly at 1:00 PM

Top Gun Shoot Out Competition – if needed at the end of the event


Dinner (included), Awards, Raffle drawing (approx.) 4:30/5PM

· All Shooters should arrive early for light lunch snacks and instructions, and be ready to begin the event on time. Shooting will begin sharply at 1:00 PM. Each Shooter needs to bring a shotgun, at least 125 rounds of ammo, eye-protection, (ear plugs provided), and cash/check/credit card (MasterCard & Visa only) for mulligans, raffle tickets!

· Parking: due to the number of people expected at this year’s event, there will be limited parking at the site. Please watch for a parking guide to direct you to a designated parking area. Do not park on the roadside unless authorized to do so by a parking guide. Carpooling is encouraged. No all-terrain vehicles (or golf carts, etc) will be allowed. We will provide your transportation to and from the shooting range.

· Fire danger: drought conditions and fire danger are of utmost concern, there will be no smoking allowed during the shoot - on or off the course. If the event is cancelled due to weather, it will not be rescheduled.

· A raffle will be held for a prize gun. Raffle tickets are $10 each, and you need not be present to win.

· No children are allowed on the property with no exceptions under any circumstances.

2016 AIA DALLAS - LiA SPORTING CLAY CLASSIC

WAIVER AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

In consideration for permission granted to the undersigned to shoot sporting clay on Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas, the undersigned hereby represents, warrants, covenants, acknowledges and agrees with The American Institute of Architects Dallas and its employees, and Acme Brick Company and its employees, as follows:

1. There are potential hazards and risks associated with shooting sporting clays and the use of firearms. The undersigned has knowledge of facts about the potentially hazardous conditions and activities of shooting sporting clays and the use of firearms. The undersigned voluntarily exposes himself to the risks as a result of his or her intelligent, informed choice. The undersigned further agrees that he or she will be responsible for all of his or her medical care and cost, if necessary, and will not sue or try receiver damages for personal injury, mental anguish, loss of society, economic loss, or any other loss fro Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas in the event that he or she is injured or killed while on the Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas.

2. The undersigned is aware of, and while upon the Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas will at all times follow the rules for safety and safe use of firearms prescribed by the National Rifle Association and the undersigned warrants he or she has successfully completed an authorized Hunters Safety Course. Further, the undersigned shall refrain from smoking of any kind to eliminate the risk of fire on the range.

3. Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas is a rural working shooting range and there may be hazards located thereon of which may exist in rural working shooting ranges; the undersigned knows that such hazards are potentially dangerous; the undersigned appreciates the nature and extent of the risk of such hazards, and the undersigned voluntarily exposes himself to these risks as a result of his intelligent, informed choice.

4. The undersigned hereby releases the American Institute of Architects Dallas, and Acme Brick, and waives any claim it now has or may hereafter have against any of the above for any injury, damage or sickness incurred by the undersigned and loss or damage to property of the undersigned while at Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas. This release extends to, without limitation, bodily injury, death, medical bills, mental anguish, economic loss, loss of society, loss of support, and loss of companionship.

5. The undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify and hold The American Institute of Architects Dallas and its employees, and Acme Brick and its employees, harmless of any loss, costs, expense, fee, liability or damage (including without limitation court costs and attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with the undersigned’s visit to, and shooting at Acme Brick’s Grindstone Pavilion in Brock, Texas.

RULES AND PROCEDURES

· Each Shooter may purchase no more than six (6) Mulligans at $10.00 each.

o Mulligans will be sold only during registration, not on the course. You can use cash, check or Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa only) to purchase Mulligans.

o You will make up a missed shot at the end of your round. Mulligans must be called on station, while still in the shooter’s box.

· Do not skip stations. Rotate in numerical order.

NO HORSEPLAY!!

· GUN SAFETY IS A MUST. STRICT RULES WILL APPLY.

· Please respect those running the event, and comply with all rules and regulations of the Gun Range.

· Do not load your gun until you are on the shooting station.

· Carry your gun with breech open at all times.

· Do not point your gun at anything you do not intend to shoot.

· No alcoholic beverages until the competition has ended and all guns have been secured.
