ü Full delegated authority to act on behalf of the Executive Director in his absence.

ü Responsible for the development and execution of the unit strategy.

ü Provides leadership and direction for staff, setting an effective agenda and ensuring performance goals are met and set.

ü Provide guidance to senior staff, particularly with regards the preparation of business studies and research .

ü Represents the faculty of commerce , and the business research unit (BRU), to the public, key stakeholders and business partners.

ü Market the business research unit (BRU) services to the target groups , and coordinate partnership activities with different parties .

ü Provides guidance, as requested by the Executive Director, for program activities include : Research and studies - training and rehabilitation - development and implementation of projects - seminars, study days and conferences - provide financial consultancy, and economic and statistical services .

ü Liaise with Media, press and other external parties to market the (BRU) and publicize high profile publications both internally and externally.

ü To liaise and build up effective working relationships with researchers and staff within the unit , and to provide regular feedback both to the executive director and to other users.

ü Taught the subjects of Business Adminstration specialization to students studying to achieve Bachelor of English Business Administration.
