recently received the Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CIIP) or Certified Professional Insurance (Woman/Man)(CPIW or CPIM) designation.
Attainment of the CIIP designation offers tangible evidence of high professional standards, a commitment to continuing education and awareness of insurance industry issues, according to the International Association of Insurance Professionals, the organization that awards the designation. In order to achieve the designation, each designee must be a current IAIP member for a minimum of three consecutive years, employed in the insurance or risk management industries and submit proof of completion of two education requirements, one of which is IAIP association programming and the other is industry-related programming offered by approved industry sponsored associations.
The International Association of Insurance Professionals was officially organized in 1940 and is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry. The national organization has 225 local associations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The association is best known for providing insurance education, skills enhancement, and leadership development to its members.
