Congratulations and Thank You for allowing me to assist you in buying your new house! I am sending you this letter as part of my customer service and to make sure that you know what to expect next. Enclosed you will find a copy of the contract for your soon to be new house. Be sure to keep this in your records. The process is as follows.

1)  I have sent a copy of the completed contract to all parties, including the seller’s agent, your attorney, and your mortgage professional. I will be in constant contact with the closing attorney and the Seller’s Agent to ensure that they have everything they need until closing.

2)  If you have decided to take advantage of your right to have a home inspection, we will need to schedule it right away to stay within the time frame set forth within the contract.

3)  Before the deadline in the contract, I will present the results of the inspection report to the seller’s agent.

4)  I will contact your mortgage broker about scheduling an appraisal on the property and getting your commitment on your loan before the deadlines set forth in the contract.

5)  Utilities: Once we know the exact date of the closing, you will need to contact all of your future utility companies and schedule them to be turned on. I will notify you of the date and time of the walk through as well as the closing place and time as soon as get them from your attorney.
