One of the best ways to promote your business is through youth activities which are an integral part of the Killeen/Copperas Cove/Ft Hood community. Through sponsorship of youth athletics you are not only helping support and provide a service to your surrounding community but it has been well-documented that businesses who actively support community youth programs are more likely to be viewed in a positive manner by the entire community itself. Although there are several different ways to demonstrate support to youth programs, financial support is by far one of the most important. Youth programs across the country are becoming fewer and fewer due to the current economic situation and costs associated with running sports programs such as football and cheerleading. We would appreciate your support in assisting KCCYSA.
KCCYSA is a youth football and cheerleading program here in the Killeen/Copperas Cove/Ft Hood area, which provides services for almost 200 children ages 4 to 13 each year. KCCYSA is a part of the Texas Youth Football Association (TYFA - www.tyfa.com). TYFA has become one of the largest youth football and cheerleading programs in the country and currently has over 90 organizations in and around San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Killeen and the Rio Grande Valley. KCCYSA provides children within the community an outlet to learn the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness and conditioning, discipline, determination, commitment and community pride.
KCCYSA has four levels of competitive football starting with 5–6 year old flag football, 6–7 year old tackle, 8–9 year old tackle, and 10–11 year old tackle. We also offer cheer leading for ages 4-13. Each football team will have between 30-40 players and there will be anywhere from 50 to 75 cheerleaders of various ages. The estimated average cost for the equipment for one team will be between $3500 and $5000. As a non-profit organization, KCCYSA relies on fundraisers and contributions from the community to maintain a competitive and effective youth sports program.
