Fungus Foray

Enjoy this guided walk and explore the wilds of the Country Park as you search for fungi and learn more about wild mushrooms and toadstools.

Fireworks

Make fireworks night go with a bang at Royal Victoria Country Park. Take a ride on the miniature railway, enjoy the fun fair, and visit the Cedar Tea Rooms or various stalls for refreshments. Gates open 6pm, fireworks at 7.30pm. Please arrive early as there may be traffic upon entry.

In advance: Adult £4.50, Child £3. On the night: Adult £7, Child £5. Tickets available from 1st October from the Heritage Visitor Centre, Hamble Sports College and some local post offices.

Easy Reads Collection Books for Adults with Learning Disabilities
These books are bright and colourful with easy to read text and lots of pictures. The books were chosen by local readers who have learning disabilities who worked with Adult Services to select them and are both fiction and non fiction. The non fiction titles deal with a range of topics including health and financial issues.
Located on the Mezzanine Floor - just ask staff to be directed to them.

Short walks in Fareham

These 30 minute walks have been

specially developed and designed

to be gentler walks for first-timers

who do not have a lot of confidence

or have health problems and find it

difficult to move around (although

keen walkers are also welcome).

• The walks are suitable for

wheelchair users and parents with

buggies.
