Position: Solid Tumor Cancer Genetics

Description: The Solid Tumor Biology Program at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Department of Molecular Genetics in the College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the levels of Assistant, Associate and Full Professor. Outstanding individuals using and/or developing mouse models of cancer are encouraged to apply. At present, research in the program and department spans a wide range of topics in cancer biology including genetics, signaling, cell cycle, cell differentiation, DNA repair, transcription, DNA replication, checkpoint control, cachexia, metabolism, aging, and tumor microenvironment.

We seek individuals with creative and strong record of productivity in fundamentals and/or translational aspects of solid tumor biology. Individuals using and/or developing mouse models of cancer are encouraged to apply. Individuals are expected to participate in teaching formal undergraduate and graduate courses and advising graduate students.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in general biology or molecular, cellular and developmental biology, or M.D. degree and postdoctoral experience required; proven record of accomplishments in solid tumor/cancer biology.
