McIlvain / Middle name “Lockridge” / Kentucky / His middle initial is “L.” The Ohio Land Records show that, on 10 Nov 1831, a “John Lockridge McIlvain” bought the following property 10 Nov 1831: 3 Stat 566, Act or Treaty 24 Apr 1820. 1 W1/2SW Between the Miamis No. 4 13 6. There is also a Florence Lockridge (b. abt 1764 in Calfpasture, Augusta, VA) in the family who married a FNU McIlvain, but I haven’t been able to make a connection.
