Personal Snowflakes

Objective/Purpose of Activity:

Students will practice the use of scissors. This fun activity will apply cutting skills while also, making an ornament.

Procedure:

Students will be given a white piece of paper and scissors in which they may cut holes out of to produce a paper snowflake. Once the snowflakes are finished each student will paste a picture of them self on top of the snowflake. The end product will be hung on the bulletin board for display then sent home for use of an ornament.

Materials:

White paper

Scissors

Glue

Picture of self (head shot)

Yarn to hang

Evaluation:

Students will be evaluated by the use of Scissors and following direction. Students will also learn about snowflakes.
