Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator Course Description

Career Development Institute (through various colleges http://www.cditraining.org/index.html ) is offering the Animal Cruelty Investigators Course approved by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the New Jersey Police Training Commission. Over the course of seven (7) classroom days you will have the opportunity to be taught by, interact with, and build relationships with six (6) of the foremost experts in the State of New Jersey regarding Animal Cruelty (the following is a link to the biographies of the faculty instructing in this class http://www.cditraining.org/pages/ACIfaculty.html).

Anyone wishing to understand the issue of animal cruelty, the animal cruelty laws and their enforcement may and should attend this course. This includes animal control officers, kennel managers, shelter workers, rescue group personnel, and volunteers.

Successful completion of this course is required for appointment as an Animal Cruelty Investigator by a New Jersey Municipality and meets the requirements of N.J.A.C. 8:23A-2.6.

Enrollment is open to any person 18 years of age or older.
