Ø CASP Lobbyist: Jeff Frost – Federal and State Contacts – 2006 “public agencies” approved for direct Medicaid/insurance billing (similar billing regs as Regional Centers, VA, etc.) Is the SPA blocking or has public agencies (school districts) dropped the ball? Direct full Medicaid and Insurance payment for all IEP related services and assessment, reducing costs to district and still FAPE for families
Ø Autism Legislation – July 1st All Insurance must begin to assess and provide behavior health
Ø LEP Workshop: $50 June 14, 2012 4-6pm UTLA (13 paid attendees as of 5/17)
