January 17th - Program Night - Photoshop Layers
Layers can be used when applying filters to soften the effects and blend them. This is an important part of enhanced post editing so don't miss this program if you want to learn a new skill.
Dom and Norm will demonstrate layer functions in Photoshop, making sure that the same functions will be available in Elements. Basics, Blending Modes, Adjustment layers and masking will be demonstrated. Members can ask questions along the way.
DUES: If you haven't paid your dues for this year, please do so quickly. Our expenses are mounting with Meetup.com dues, we had to purchase ribbons this year, and travel expenses for judges. And, for the record....rules state that dues must be paid before entering competitions. We have a few members who are violating this rule. Please check with Chris Atsales if you're not sure where you stand. $30 for single, $40 for family. Thanks!!
Audubon Photo Contest:
Tear down of the Audubon exhibit is Wednesday, January 2. I'll be there at noon....a few volunteers would make the process move quickly. Pick up of your prints as follows:

All entries must be picked up at the Center (Mon-Fri 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; Sat–Sun Noon – 4:00 pm).
