Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS)

Executive Board Application

Due by 11:59 pm on Saturday , February 11, 2017

The Princeton Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) is an organization open to all undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a pre-medical, -dental, or -veterinary education. The group plans several events throughout the year to raise funds for health-related charities. For example, MAPS organized Arts vs. Disease, which raised over $250 to promote global health equity through the creation of long-standing partnerships between university students and grassroots organizations, specifically providing funds to purchase an ultrasound machine for the COVE Alliance health clinic in Kapeeka, Uganda, via GlobeMed. MAPS members also write and distribute newsletters which feature interviews with alumni who are medical students or doctors. Additionally, MAPS hosts study breaks and MCAT information sessions.

All Princeton undergraduate students are welcome to apply to join the executive board of MAPS, and there are no prerequisites for any of the available executive board positions.
