Career Assignment 3
There are three (3) sections to this assignment. Following directions is important to correctly completing this assignment. Read the directions for each section carefully.
SECTION I – Ruffalo Noel Levitz/College Student Inventory Mid-Year Assessment
The Mid-Year assessment is a post survey to the CSI taken at the beginning of the semester.
· Directions
§ You will receive an email in your GTC Gmail account with a link and instructions to complete the survey
· You will receive a summary report as a PDF once you have completed the survey
§ Save the summary report to your computer or flash drive
§ Attach your summary report with this assignment
· Based on the information from your summary report. Answer the following questions.
1. Under Academic Motivation what area did your score increase? Why do you think your score increased in this area?
2. Under General Coping what area did your score increase? Why do you think your score increased in this area?
3. List either an additional reflection or concern you have after reviewing your Mid-Year Summary Report.
SECTION II - Resume
Directions:
· Attach a copy of your resume in a separate document.
§ If you have previously completed a resume you may update it and attach it.
§ If you need to create your first resume there are templates available in WORD
(click on FILE or Microsoft button then click on NEW and scroll down to Resume
Templates). Templates may also be found online. Google Images is a good
resource for examples.
§ There are resume tips and examples in the front of your textbook;
GTC pages 73-76 as well as in your FOCUS textbook (COL 103 - Chapter 12, pages 341-342;
COL 105 - Chapter 12 page 386; COL 205- page 346).
