FIRST COUNTY BANK SPONSORS

2011 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IN NORWALK

STAMFORD, Conn., May 17, 2011 -- This is the third consecutive year First County Bank is sponsoring the Summer Concert Series at Calf Pasture Beach. The $7,500 sponsorship ensures all 11 concerts are free and open to the public. The theme this year is tribute bands: Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, The Mammas & Pappas, Billy Joel, Woodstock and the Beatles. The weekly concerts typically attract 1000 to 1500 people and begin June 22 and continue through Sept. 7.

“These are fabulous events that the entire family can attend – and they are free. First County Bank is happy to continue our sponsorship of this year’s 2011 Summer Concert Series,” said Rey Giallongo, president of First County Bank. “Many of our employees, customers and their families enjoy the concerts and other entertainment offered by Norwalk’s Recreation and Parks Department.”

“As mayor of the City of Norwalk, and on behalf of our residents, I want to thank First County Bank for its continued generosity in sponsoring the City of Norwalk’s 2011 Summer Concerts and entertainment before and after our July 3 fireworks display,” said Mayor Richard Moccia.

Calf Pasture Beach Park is located at 69 Calf Pasture Beach Road in Norwalk. Additional concert information is available online at http://www.norwalkct.org/index.aspx?NID=297 or by calling 203.854-7807.

Parking at Calf Pasture Beach is free for residents with Norwalk beach stickers on their cars. Without a beach sticker the parking fee is $5 per car. On Sunday, July 3, Norwalk hosts its Independence Day fireworks display that typically attracts more than 20,000 spectators; a fee of $20 is charged for cars without a Norwalk beach sticker. Cars with beach stickers will be allowed in free.
