Lemonade Mint Iced Tea!

I love this one and with brown sugar it is even better.

Ingredients

10 cups boiling water

10 tea bags

4 sprigs fresh mint

1 twelve ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

Sugar for sweetening (optional)

Directions

Combine water, teabags and mint in large pot and let steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove tea bags.

Stir in concentrate. At this point you should taste and see if you think you need some sugar. The lemonade will sweeten it somewhat, but if you like your tea pretty sweet you might need to add in some sugar.

Refrigerate about one hour, or until ready to serve.

Cover and leave in fridge overnight before drinking. Take the mint leaves out if water not consumed after 2 days. I grate the ginger really fine and drink it down with the tea.

I love ice tea and I simply make ice tea using Breakfast tea or Earl Grey tea and add orange slices. I drink unsweetened tea and never add sugar.

When enjoying hot tea of a variety of flavors, I sometimes will add a tiny taste of local honey.

Paul Russ-Buckner RED and after hours only!

Don’t think we can have this one at work. But, just in case, here it is. But here is one we can use. The tea I like the most is the sun brewed tea I had when I lived in Arizona. We would put 7 or 8 tea bags in a gallon jar with water in it and let it sit out in the sun for a couple of hours. Then add sugar to taste and drink. Oh yea, don’t forget the ice cubes.

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vodka1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger rum

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger triple sec liqueur

1 Jigger tequila

2 teaspoons orange juice

2 fluid ounces cola-flavored carbonated beverage

1 wedge lemon

Directions

In a cocktail mixer full of ice, combine vodka, gin, rum, triple sec and tequila. Add orange juice and cola. Shake vigorously until frothy. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice, and garnish with wedge of lemon.
