Eminem and I

By: Kasper Sipe

Eminem and I Kasper Sipe, were swinging on the swings at the playground. Then a bully came up to us both in face. I wanted to fight back but Em said, “No” (I called Eminem Em for short). Em was always trying to make friends but I was his only one. We both lived with our moms (because our dads left us when we were young) and our families were poor. Em and I always hung out at each others house to pass football do what we liked most “rapping”. We could take one word and make a rap off that one word. We had bad words in our raps so the teacher didn’t let us share our raps with the class. The athletes said we were losers because we weren’t in to sports. Then one day they came to our house expecting us to play football with them so they could beat us up, but we declined it. For the rest of our school year we were called losers. But not for long.

Ten years later, Em and I were coming home after high school and Em asked me if I wanted to come over and hang out. I said, “Yes”. I than ran to my house and dropped my back pack on my bed and quickly ran to Em’s house Then Em grabbed hi s football and we passed for half an hour. Then we grabbed a basketball and shoot hoops for an hour. Then we went inside and ran up to Em’s room. After we watched or favorite show Em asked if I wanted to hear his new rap song. I said, ”Yes”. So then he started to rap and I was so impressed I told him he should go into a big freestyle rap competition. So then he entered the rap Olympics. He made it to the finales, but unfortunately he lost. We thought Em’s rap career was over. But was it?

Em and I were very sad because he had lost the rap Olympics, but little did we know that rap contractors were there the whole time. The rap contractors signed Em a contract. Because he got the contract he was able to make albums. We also didn’t know that people were video taping Em’s battles and posted them on YouTube. His videos went crazy. People watched his videos all over the planet. That is when Em became famous.

From then on, Em was very famous. I am starting to wonder why nobody knows me, but Em does and that’s all that counts.
