ALL SCHOOL:

· Class of 2018!! An email with an attachment was sent to you and your parents, to announce that the Senior Important Information Booklet a hard copy is now available for pick up in the Principal’s Office. Please stop by and see Mrs. Sanford. (10/31)

· WRC Leadership Conference All students who received a permission slip to attend the WRC Leadership Conference, please return your permission slips to Mr. Agrast or Mr. Dugan by November 3rd. (11/1)

· There is Open Chess South Euclid Library from 4:15 pm to 6 pm Tuesday afternoons only. (11/3)

· Brush Chess Club meets on Thursdays 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm Room D103.(11/3)

· Need an easy way to earn community service hours? Join Key Club! Our next meeting is this Wednesday after school in the library(11/2)

· Christian Fellowship Club will meet today at 3:15 in A105. Light refreshments will be served, all are welcome. Any questions see Ms. Martin(10/31)

· The Brush Academic Team competed at Eastlake North High School last Saturday. We placed third in our division qualifying Brush for a wild card bid to go to regionals. Congratulations to Jamie Schmidt, Rebecca Rossi, Zach Lashley, Owen Seddon and Gwyneth Seddon!!(10/31)

· It is time for the annual Reflections Arts Competition. This year's theme is "Within Reach". The categories are: Visual Arts, Photography, Musical Composition, Literature, Dance Choreography, Film/Video Production, and a Special Artist division... Deadline for entries is November 13th , 2017. Pick up your entry form and rules in the main office or at flyer central. Don't miss this opportunity to share your talents with the SEL community(11/13)

· Students your names will run on the Marquee that sits on Mayfield Road. You may stop in and see Mrs. Sanford in the Principal’s Office for your Certificate.

SPORTS:

· Were you aware that our very own BRUSH HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY FOOTBALL team is on the verge of making history by being only the third team in this schools history to make it to the state football playoffs? Way to go guys! To get us all ready for the playoff game this Friday here at Korb Field against Hudson and to show our team that we are ready to go to war for them each grade will be participating in a school wide COLOR WAR! Grades 9th thru 12th will be given a part of the building to decorate and be judged on. The judging will take place Friday morning and the winning class will receive a class party. For the entire grade! Make sure that you, your friends and fellow classmates show up today after school to start planning and collaborating. We will also be decorating other parts of the building this week as well. The Brush High School Spirit Squad will be meeting in the cafe from 3pm-5pm as well! As if having awesome teams and athletes to support wasn't enough to draw you in we will also be offering community service hours for your participation! We look forward to seeing you this week after school in the cafe! (11/3)

· Tryouts for the 2017-2018 Boys Basketball Team will be next week MONDAY 11/6, TUESDAY 11/7, and WEDNESDAY 11/8 in Welser Gym from 3:30pm - 5:30pm.

o In order to participate in the tryouts each player must have their FINAL FORMS signed and completed, PAY TO PLAY PAID, and a current up to date physical on file with the athletic office. If you do not have these things taken care if by the first day of tryouts you are unable to stay for tryouts.(11/8)

· Athletic BOOSTERS Spirit wear will be sold during lunch hours Thursday November 26th. New clothing for last football game will be sold at student rate.(11/26)
