BIWEEKLY TIME SHEET INSTRUCTIONS

v All hourly and day rate (non-exempt) employees are required to submit a time sheet each pay period.

v Biweekly time sheets must be turned in to Krysta Earhart NO LATER THAN 8:00 am on the Payroll Deadline (see payroll schedule).

v Photographers working away from the office must call in payroll information (days and hours) NO LATER THAN 8:00 am on the Payroll Deadline (see payroll schedule). See instructions below for properly submitting payroll information.

v When you submit your time sheet, please retain the pink copy for your records.

v Hours reported must reflect actual work hours (read the fine print at the bottom of the biweekly time sheet). For photographers working out of the Okemos office, your daily time begins when you leave your home and ends when you leave the office. Photographers working away from the office (from home) start their day when they leave their home and complete it at home.

v Lunches lasting 30 minutes or longer are not paid and must be subtracted from your daily total hours.

v Daily rate employees, please total the number of days and hours in each week of the payroll as indicated on the attached sample.

v Hourly rate employees, please total the total number of hours in each week of the payroll as indicated on the attached sample. You will not need to include the number of days you work each week, just the total hours.

BIWEEKLY PAYROLL PROCEDURE

v Payroll information must be submitted BEFORE 8:00 am on the Payroll Deadline.

v Your information must be emailed to Krysta at .

v Your pay will reflect the information in your email (no information or incorrect information = no pay).

v Please follow the outline below when reporting your payroll:

“This is Guy Smiley submitting my payroll info for pay period #____.

Week #1 ending October 23 - 5 days, 45.5 hours.

Week #2 ending October 30 - 5 days, 46 hours.”

v Please remember to include your name in both the subject line and in the body of your email.

v If your information is not submitted correctly, you will not receive a check during that pay period. Your corrected information will be submitted during the following pay period.

v PAYROLL IS DUE BY 8:00 AM ON PAYROLL MONDAY. IF IT IS SUBMITTED AFTER 8:00 AM, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE PAY FOR THAT PAY PERIOD UNTIL THE NEXT PAY PERIOD.
