Local Scholarship Bulletin - Class of 2015
The following scholarships are available to students of the Class of 2015. You must complete a special application for the organizations where a special application is indicated. One local application may be completed with a listing of all the organizations you would like it to be received by. Applications are available in the guidance office and the local scholarship application is also available on the Berea-Midpark High School guidance web page, www. berea.k12.oh.us./bmhs. All applications are on paper! Special applications can be picked up in the guidance office or see Mrs. Kelley. All applications need to be printed neatly, with letters of recommendation and/or pieces of artwork submitted with the application. It is important to complete each application as indicated by the organization sponsoring the scholarship. The amount stated for each scholarship may vary from year to year.
Most applications must be returned to the guidance office Friday, March 27 at 2:30 pm. Some scholarships have a different due date than the one stated above. Students must pay attention to those dates and that the application must be mailed directly back to the scholarship organization. If no specific date is listed by the scholarship, then the due date is the 27th. No local scholarship applications will be accepted after this date. AFS Robbie Robinson Scholarship

Special Application-Ages 15-18, have a 2.8 GPA, involved in community and school and be accepted for AFS-USA to go abroad as an exchange student for next school year.

Berea Arts Fest Scholarship

Special Application-Students must be pursuing a degree in fine arts, theater, music performance or graphic arts. Must provide a portfolio with art or performance examples and the portfolio can be a pdf binder, CD or DVD. Performance portfolios should include both video and sound. Letters of recommendation are encouraged.

Special Application - Open to BHS seniors planning to major in visual arts. Photos or digital images of works of art and letters of recommendations must be included.

Special Application - Open to Brook Park residents, one male and one female who excel in academics and athletics including cheerleading.

Special Application-To be awarded to a deserving graduating senior based on written application and essay.

Cuyahoga Community College Honors Program Fellowship Application
$4250 per year for two years, Deadline is March 20, 2015
Special Application-Open to BMHS seniors planning to attend Tri-C in the fall of 2015, must have a minimum GPA of 3.5, ACT of 25 in English, 23 in Math or 1220 on SAT.
