El Pretérito Regular
1. Place the following ships on your grid by shading in the appropriate squares according to size. Your ships may be placed horizontally or vertically.
Cutter = 1 square Destroyer = 2 squares
Frigate = 3 squares Cruiser = 4 squares
Battleship = 5 squares
2. Take turns calling out the appropriate forms of the verbs according to the subject pronouns, trying to “hit” a ship of your partner’s. When your partner “hits” your ship, mark that square with an X. When calling out verb forms to your partner, mark your “Partner’s Grid” with H’s (hits) and M’s (misses). The object is to “sink” your partner’s ships first.
