Eligible players / Players of the categories U17, U15, U13, and U11.
BPAC require documentation supporting nationality and age of players.
For Team Event, U19 players can be considered to play.
Key dates / All forms are attached.
·  By June 30 ,2015 Form 1 must be completed and returned – if you wish to compete in the Team Event.
·  By June 30, 2015 Form 2 must be completed and returned with the lists of players in the Individual Events.
BPAC will not accept any late entries.

Airport / You should aim to arrive at Aeropuerto Internacional ,General Abelardo L. Rodriguez, Tijuana- Mexico.
Hotel / Additional information will be provided.
Transportation / Federación Mexicana de Badminton will offer transportation from the airport to the official Hotel, and the venue, only when booking reservations with the Booking Form for the Official Hotels.
Details for the Individual Championships:
Entries for the Individual Event / Maximum entries for each Member Association:
Men’s singles / 4 players
Women’s singles / 4 players
Men’s doubles / 2 pairs
Women’s doubles / 2 pairs
Mixed doubles / 4 pairs

1.  Players are allowed to play a maximum of 3 events: 1 singles, 1 doubles and 1 mixed only. (For example: Can´t play singles, or doubles or mixed in 2 different categories)

2.  Players are allowed to play in an older age group.

3.  Consolation rounds will only be played for Singles in Under 15, Under 13 and Under 11 Age groups if times permit.

4.  Fee : US$ 50.00 per player

5.  At the moment of the entry the MAs can list an additional boy and girl in each category (U11, U13, U15, and U17) as reserve . Beside this additional player no player´s entry will be accepted .

6.  Withdrawal and replacement.

Replacement, only will be consider the entry player in the reserve list.

Withdrawal date : Sunday July 19 , 2015.

Method of Competition for the Team Event / 1.  Team size: maximum size —10 men and 10 women per country.

3.  Method of Competition:
a.  Less than 6 teams—Round Robin (top 2 seeded teams play last tie)
b.  6 to 8 teams—2 pools where top 2 teams in each pool play feed into a crossover 4 team knockout draw with 3rd place playoff. Consolation play for pool losers.
c.  9 to 11 teams—pools of 3 or 4 teams where top 2 teams in each pool play feed into a 6 team knockout draw with 3rd place playoff. Consolation play for pool losers and first round draw losers when possible.
d.  12 teams to up pools of 4 teams where 2 top teams in each pool play feed into a 8 team knockout draw with 3rd place palyoff.

e.  Based on previous Pan American Team Championships results.
f.  8 teams or less—2 seeds
g.  More than 8 teams—1 seed per pool
4.  Fee: $ 200.00 per team

CLOTHING REGULATIOS

Team & Individual Events

Please take note of clothing regulations for all participants at the XXIII Pan Am Junior Championships 2014, taking place in Guatemala, from July 20 to 27.

-It is mandatory that player’s name and country name be printed on the back.

-It is mandatory in Team Competition that all team used the same uniform until the end of each tie.

Color, style and size of letter.

a)  Sequence of printing, on the top of the shirt Player’s Name, followed by the Player’s Country Name and sponsor if any.

b)  Lettering shall be in capitals letters in the Roman alphabet, and in one single color contrasting with that of the shirt.

c)  If there is a pattern on the back of the shirt, the lettering should be on contrasting panel.

d)  In order that the player’s name be legible from a distance for spectators in the stadium and television viewers, lettering must be a minimum height of 6 centimeters and a maximum height of 10 centimeters.

e)  The country name must be a height of 5 centimeters

f)  Lettering should be horizontal, or as close to horizontal as practically possible, and placed near the top of the shirt.

g)  The Player’s Country Name on the back of the shirt should be printed completely or Olympic abbreviation, example:

PUERTO RICO or PUR, ARGENTINA or ARG, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC or DOM
