DRESS CODE

· Students are not allowed to wear pants or skirts with rips or open tears exposing skin or other clothing underneath. For example: Jeans are unacceptable if they have holes or tears; even if shorts or leggings are worn underneath.

· Shorts and skirts must be "fingertip" length even if leggings are worn underneath. All skirts must be “fingertip” length on all sides.

· Tight fitting clothing is prohibited.

· Students' pants shall be worn at the waist. Boys should wear a belt.

· See-through clothing, bare shoulders, bare midriffs, halters, and tank tops are prohibited.

· Extreme hairstyles are prohibited. This includes unnatural colors and designs, extensions, and hair braids.

If a student violates these rules, a parent will be contacted to bring alternative appropriate clothing. If a parent is unable to bring clothing, the student will be assigned to ISS for the remaining portion of the day.
