Dear Industry Partner:

Thank you for your interest in the Associated Contractors of New Mexico (ACNM), which represents over 130 Heavy Highway and Utility Contractors, Subcontractor/Specialty Contractors, Suppliers and Professional Service Firms.

Membership in ACNM not only provides your firm with a “voice on industry issues in New Mexico”, but also in Washington D.C. where ACNM is one of 95 chapters that are chartered by Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America.

We encourage our members to consider assigning multiple company representatives to serve on the various ACNM committees (see our website at www.aconm.org for complete listing of standing committees), which provides member firms a voice with regard to various industry issues including, but not limited to:

Membership Workforce Development Specifications

Safety Political Action/Legislative Special Events

Industry Golf Tournament Associate Member Advisory Council Compliance

Heavy/Highway Construction Safety Partnership (NMOSHA)

Other valuable membership services include assistance with NMDOT issues (i.e.: Bid Lettings, Specifications and other Contractor/NMDOT relationships). ACNM also provides a NMDOT and FHWA approved “On-The-Job Training Program” for Contractors performing on Federally Funded Transportation Projects. In addition, ACNM hosts a variety of industry functions that provide our members with networking opportunities for business development purposes.

On behalf of the ACNM Board of Directors, Committee Chairmen and ACNM Staff, I want to invite you to come by the ACNM offices for a personal visit and tour of our Workforce Training Center and learn more about how ACNM can assist your firm in meeting the challenges that face our contracting industry.

For more information, please contact our Executive Director, Mike Beck, at 505-344-2072 x11. We look forward to having you join us.

Sincerely,

Adam Triolo
