Website Assignment
Assignment Instructions: You are to create a website to promote an upcoming concert of your selected band. You can use either software that we learned in class, html coding or Weebly, to create your website.
Your website must include the following minimum requirements:
· A homepage titled “Your Band: Toronto Concert 2013” and additional content pages, each with a different title and are properly labeled
· The additional pages are as follows:
1. Promotions: Flyer and CD cover, QR (quick response code http://www.qrstuff.com/)
2. Directions
3. Pricing information
4. Links page
5. Blog page (with fan comments/video blog).
· Your website should be well formatted and follow the online criteria for good websites (and avoid bad website design). Remember, sometimes “less is more”.
· Each page should have date information with an email link titled “order tickets” (with an active link to your email).
· Appropriate pictures on each web page promoting your concert (including your homepage)
· The grammar and spelling in your website should be correct throughout.
(Note that if you wish to use another program that you know ex. WordPress, Dreamweaver, etc. you need consult your teacher)
