ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME – 30 JUL 2016

1. Ref para 9 of Circular No 13 dt 30 Jun 2016

2. An Evening of Hindustani Classical Music and Ghazals by the renowned artist, Shri Pandit Shrinivas Joshi is now being organized on Saturday, the 30th Jul 2016 instead of 23rd Jul 2016 from 1830 hrs to 2000 hrs. The event is being sponsored by ICICI Bank, Sainikpuri Branch.

3. All members are requested to attend in large numbers. Guests are permitted.

WATER CONSUMPTION

4. Keeping the onset of monsoon inview, all Members / Residents are requested to boil / filter the water before it is used.

HOLIDAY FOR SOCIETY, WELFARE & RECREATION CENTRE

1. The following Public Holidays will be observed during Aug 2016:-

TOMBOLA.

4. Tambola for the month of Aug 2016 will be conducted on Tuesday, the 09th Aug 2016 at 1900 hrs at MKRM Hall.

5. Members and their family are requested to come in large nos and make it a success. Snacks will be available on payment. Guests are not permitted as per new rules of the State Govt.

6. It has been observed that there has been poor response to the event. In case the response continues to remain poor, then no further renewal of license will be done once the remaining 2 (two) sanctioned events are over and tombola will be discontinued.

LADIES CLUB EVENT

7. Ladies Club Meeting will be held on 10 Aug 2016 at Brig MK Rao Memorial Hall at 5.00 pm. The programme is as follows:-

(a) “Beauty on wheels” – M/s Rubina will be giving us a talk on Home Service Beauty Parlour facility being offered to Ladies of Sainikpuri

(b) Presentation of health products by Unicity – Mr Ujwal Raj will give a presentation on health products for the well being of our Lady Members

8. Request all lady members to attend the programme in large numbers along with friends and make the evening a grand success.

9. All those desirous of attending are requested to inform the W&RC Manager by 08th Aug 2016 (Tele No 27111187).

PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY BILLS

10. The Bill Collector from TS Transco will be visiting the Society Office to receive payments of electricity bills in cash / cheque, from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs on 16 Aug 2016. Members / Residents who wish to pay the electricity bills by cheque may issue crossed cheques favouring ‘AAO / ERO / TSSPDCL / SAINIKPURI’ and leave it with Society in advance and collect receipts later.

FELICITATION OF SENIOR MEMBERS INCLUDING ASSOCIATE MEMBERS ON FOUNDERS’ DAY.

11. Senior Members / Residents / Associate Members will be felicitated on Founders’ Day.

12. Members / Associate members who have attained the age of 85 years on or before 19 Aug 2016 and have not been felicitated earlier are requested to give their names to Society office by 10 Aug 2016 with a brief Bio-data.

FOUNDERS’ DAY: 19 AUG 2016

13. Founders’ Day will be celebrated on 19th Aug 2016 from 1900 hrs onwards at Brig MK Rao Memorial Hall. All senior members who have reached the age of 85 years and above will be felicitated on this occasion. Subsequently there will be an entertainment programme followed by dinner. Members / residents and their families are requested to participate in large numbers and make the event a success.

14. Dinner is being organized at Rs 250/- (Rupees two hundred & fifty only) per head. Catering is by Sharma Caterers.

15. Please intimate your requirement of dinner on the format attached to this circular, and kindly collect the dinner coupons from the Society office by 17th Aug 2016. Guest are welcome.

FOUNDERS’ DAY – 19 AUG 2016

1. Further to this office circular No. 15/2016 dated 30 Jul 2016.

2. This is a reminder to all members and residents, that the AFOCHS, Sainikpuri is staging Loretta Willoughby’s comedy “MIND OVER MANOR” on 19 Aug 2016 at 1900 hrs at Brig MK Rao Memorial Hall in Sainikpuri in honour of its founder. The play is directed and being performed by senior residents as well as youngsters from the colony. A synopsis of the play is given below:-

“Jasmine Winters and Chester Banks arrive at Summer Meadows, an out- of- town mansion, looking for the owner, Opal Summers.What they meet is a collection of elderly people who are, at the very least, eccentric. When Jasmine starts to question them fiercely, the residents start to question her motives---then Jasmine goes missing.....!!!“. All are requested to come with family and friends to find out what happens.

3. Members and their families are requested to come in large nos and make it a success. Snacks will be available on payment. Guests are not permitted as per new rules of the State Govt.

4. Ladies Club Meeting will be held on 14 Sep 2016 at Brig MK Rao Memorial Hall at 5.00 pm. A very interesting programme “Heart Fulness Meditation and Relaxation” by Dr Padma is being organized for the well being of all members of Sainikpuri.

TIPPING OF PLUMBER & ELECTRICIAN

10. Members / Associate Members & Residents are requested NOT to tip the plumber and electrician for authorized jobs carried out during working hours. Copy auth item of work is attached as Appx’A’.

11. Work done by plumber & electrician on holidays and outside working hours and not listed in above Appx may please be negotiated by yourselves without involving the Society office.

13. Benefits of using LED Bulbs :-

a) Saving on Electricity bill by 50%

b) Life of the bulb is more than normal bulb

c) It is brighter than normal bulb

d) Gives out lesser heat

e) 9 W LED bulb is equal to 100 W old bulb. Costs only Rs 80/- each and works for 23 years

14. All membes / residents interested in these bulbs may give their names to this office with their rquirement and demand will be placed on the GHMC, Kapra Circle.
