The internship will be structured so the student learns the operations of a political campaign and works alongside the campaign staff. Positions will also provide interns with tremendous networking opportunities and the ability to develop skills and opportunities for future employment.

Responsibilities of selected interns will include, but won’t be limited to: drafting correspondences, assist staff with social media integration and development, draft press releases, issue research, fundraising, manage web tracking and analytics, and in assisting in a variety of projects related to campaign strategy.

Applicants must have strong written and verbal communications skills and should be familiar with Microsoft Office and web research. Past political experience is not necessary, however, applicants should be Republican and familiar with Missouri’s political structure. All internships are unpaid positions. Hours for internships are flexible, dependent on student class schedules.
