RESPONSIBILITY:-
i. Stay current on HSE regulatory requirement and technical issues and use relevant information to implement, achieve compliance, and minimize risk& hazard
ii. Gather report data on HSE performance, HSE complains, and significant incidents. Keep management apprised of status, and progress compared to goals.
iii. Coordinate a department-wide system to identify and evaluate hazards, and implement effective corrective solution consistent with the risk management process.
iv. Provide and coordinate the employees HSE training and education programs, including HSE training and orientation for new employees, subject matter experts, and line management.
v. Provide day to day coaching, feedback, and functional direction to plant leadership, front line leaders, operators and technical support.
vi. Develop procedure to review the status and effectiveness of HSE programs, and make needed improvements.
vii. Provide comprehensive HSE related to support to management of all incident/accident & near misses.
viii. Inspect worksite and advise finding to the project manager for taking appropriate action
ix. Preparation of job safety plan whenever required
x. Review work permit for HSE adequacy and advise the project staff
xi. Inspect vehicle, plant, equipment lifting accessories and PPE etc
