At the next meeting, put an “X” next to the worries that came true. Was worrying worth the time you spent? Brainstorm ways to think constructively about things that you can really change or improve.
Activity #7 Is It Fair?
Here's a chance for you to see that words can be used to give messages that are fair or unfair. Write “F” if the statement is fair, “U” if it is unfair. If you think it is unfair, change the sentence to be fair.

Activity #9 Who's Important?
Your life is influenced by adults around you -- family members, teachers, religious leaders, your friends parents, even your Girl Scout leaders! Make a list of the most important adults in your life. Write down their names and why they are important to you.

Activity #10 - Popcorn Party
Popcorn is a fun ingredient for a party (unless you're wearing braces!). Try these mixes:
Cheese Popcorn: Mix 1/2 cup of grated cheese into a large bowl of popcorn
Chocolate Chip Popcorn: Mix 1 cup of small chocolate chips into a large bowl of plain popcorn
Peanut Pop: Mix a can of roasted peanuts into a large bowl of plain popcorn
Cinnamon Sugar: Mix 1/2 cup of plain white sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over a large bowl of plain popcorn
For those wearing braces, try Tortilla Treats:
Sprinkle some grated cheese on a tortilla, microwave for 45 seconds. Roll up and cut into slices to share.
Spread the tortilla with butter. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. Microwave for 10-15 seconds. Roll up and cut into slices to share.
Activity #11 - Peer Pressure Skits
Each patrol will create a situation to role-play. They should involve characters who have important decisions to make, and who are tempted to follow the crowd rather than to think independently. Create two endings for each situation: one in which the main character has high self-esteem and one in which she has low self-esteem.
Activity #12 Verbal Hugs
Write down something – anything - nice about each girl in the troop. You can even write something nice about yourself! Give this page to a leader when you finish.
