Albert Gallatin Area SD “One Call Now” Notifications
The Albert Gallatin Area School District is pleased to announce that we are now able to provide text messaging for emergencies, school closings, delayed openings, early dismissals, and bus transportation issues via SMS text messaging to mobile phones through our partner – One Call Now.
Regulations require that text messages can only be sent to recipients who have subscribed or Opted-in to receive these messages. Therefore, AGASD will not send an SMS message to any phone that is not in the list of subscribed phone numbers.
If you would like to receive these text messages, please do the following:
1. Ensure your school has your cell phone number on file. Parents that have completed a student emergency contact form for their child and provided their cell phone numbers will already have those numbers in our database. Parents can also review the cell phone the school has on file by reviewing their demographic information on their MMS Parent Portal or register for the OCN Self-Update Portal located on our district website under Parents>Currently Enrolled.
If the school does not have your cell phone number on file, request that the number be added through your child’s school.
2. From your cell phone, text the word ALERT to the number 22300.
If our messaging system finds a match for your number in its database, you will receive a confirmation message thanking you for joining One Call Now.
At any time, you can unsubscribe by texting STOP to 22300.
