Agility to Consolidate Asia Pacific Headquarters in Singapore

SINGAPORE - April 18, 2011 - Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has announced that the company will consolidate its Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore. The move is expected to be completed by the middle of this year.

“Following the announcement made in 2009 about Agility establishing an Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, we have decided to consolidate our regional senior management team in the Lion City,” said Hans Hickler, Agility CEO, Asia Pacific.

This consolidation will bring the Asia Pacific regional team together. Singapore was chosen to be the new headquarter location because of its strategic position in the Asia Pacific region and its accessibility to customers and field offices.

The consolidation further strengthens the company’s links to Singapore. In April 2009, Agility Chairman and Managing Director Tarek Sultan joined world business leaders on the International Advisory Council of the Singapore Economic Development Board. Commenting on this latest move, Mr. Sultan said, “We are excited to be extending our relationship with Singapore, which offers excellent connectivity and an open business environment.”

Agility’s Greater China headquarters will remain in Hong Kong headed by James Gagne, Agility CEO, Greater China.
