Academic Excellence Creativity Respect Responsibility

Dear Parents:

Thank you for your interest in the Carlisle Public School Integrated Preschool

Our program serves children, both special needs and typically developing, who will be three years old by September 1. The class is taught by 2 certified teachers and additional support staff, with supplementary instructional support from a speech and language pathologist, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist. There is a maximum of 20 three and four-year old students. The curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate practices encouraging the growth of each child at their individual pace. It is designed to be an inviting and fun place to play and learn.

The program for typical students will run from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday through Thursday. We are also able to offer the option of having your child attend from 8:45-11:45 on Fridays for no additional cost. Only eligible students with special needs will attend the program on Mondays, with a focus on specialized therapies to address their identified needs. Beginning in October, an additional opportunity will be available on a Wednesday or a Friday for students to stay until 12:45 for lunch. The specific beginning and ending dates of the program are set on a yearly basis, but over the course of the year, the Preschool will follow the calendar of the Carlisle Public School. The classroom is located in the Spalding Building.

Parents are responsible for providing transportation for their child. Currently, tuition for the school year is $520 per month, with a one-month deposit (September) due upon acceptance to the program and additional payments due by September 1st (October - February) and February 1st (March - June). Tuition payments are non-refundable. Extreme circumstances will be considered by the Program Director on a case-by-case basis.

If there are more students than openings, students will be chosen by a lottery system from all applications. Siblings of current and previous preschool students are given priority.

One month's tuition (non-refundable) is due upon acceptance to the program to reserve your child's enrollment (please make checks payable to Town of Carlisle).

For an application to be complete, the following information must be submitted:
