Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Company:

VISION

Abraham Kriel Children’s Home, Modimolle (Nylstroom), has a vision that children may be cared for to become happy, healthy and well-disciplined members of the community taking the needs of others into account.

MISSION

Abraham Kriel Children’s Home, has a mission that children of all denominations should be cared for according to the holistic approach, taking the constitution of the country into account so that the physical, religious, educational, welfare and social needs of the children may be met.

PROJECTS

Meat costs us a lot at the Children’s Home. Therefore we launch projects at game farms to obtain carcasses after the trophy is shot. We use 35kg meatper meal and that is why we ask farmers to donate a cow on an annual basis. Companies launch projects to get the money to buy meat for us.

We launched a project named A CHILD HELP A CHILD at schools in the Limpopo Province to collect toiletries for us.

We collect and ask for stationary throughout the year. We have to provide 200 children with stationary at the beginning of a school year as well as during the year.

CHRISTMAS WISHLISTS

PLEASE HELP US TO MAKE OUR CHILDREN'S DREAMS COME TRUE!

Our children do not have the same privilege as other children in an ordinary home to celebrate Christmas. The excitement of all the preparations beforehand they do not experience. They also have dreams and unfortunately compare themselves with other children at school and wish to have the same. Therefore we get wish lists from the children, during the month of August every year that can be passed on to Samaritans by request. We have an annual Christmas party by the end of November.

We have decided to send the wish lists to all people who have been involved in this project last year. At this moment we have 183 traumatised children in 15 different houses.

Please send these wish lists to all your contacts so that we can get the maximum number of people involved in this project.
