Visual
A visual learner learns more easily when given things to look at. Reading, colour highlighting, looking at pictures, outlining and watching demonstrations aid visual learners.
Tactile
A tactile learner learns more easily by touching materials related to the learning. Arts and crafts projects, letter shapes made form pipe cleaners, finger counting and manipulating small objects aid tactile learners.
Auditory
An auditory learner learns more easily by listening. Rhythmic chants, lectures, content on tape and verbal directions aid auditory learners.
Kinesthetic
A kinesthetic learner learns more easily by moving his/her body. Forming letter shapes with body parts, jumping out rhythms of multisyllable words, acting out word meanings and physical demonstrations aid kinesthetic learners.
