WEATHER:
Dallas, Texas enjoys a month of warmer weather during April as compared to February and March. The breeze this time of year though, can be brisk as this is the area’s windiest month, therefore bringing a jacket and layering clothing is recommended. Average temperatures range from the low for the day of 55 to the high of the day of 76 degrees Fahrenheit. All horse activities will be conducted in a covered arena while the didactic and debriefing will be held in a heated or air conditioned lounge.

A. From DFW International Airport: Time from airport approximately 50 minutes
1. Take North Airport exit to Sam Rayburn Tollway/121 North (eventually goes East); stay on 121 until McKinney, TX approximately 30 miles; take the Sherman US 75 North to exit 48.
2. Take US75 North to exit #48 - This is approximately 10-15 minutes north of McKinney. The exit is marked FM455/Anna-Weston
3. Go LEFT (West) over the Freeway towards Weston. (There is a CVS Pharmacy and 2 truck stops at this exit; head left towards The Flying J on the left side of the freeway.)
4. At the stop sign continue STRAIGHT on FM455. (You will go about 2.5 miles heading west then north on FM455)
3. Road makes a sharp curve to the right going over a small bridge at Hurricane Creek.
4. Road makes an "S" curve, going left then right, when you come out of the "S" curve you will be going North....almost there!
5. After two downhill/uphill dips in the road, FM 455 turns "Sharply" to the Left going west. CR289 (county road) goes straight ahead at this 90 degree curve. FM455 is a blacktop road; CR289 is a light gray graveled road and the color change is quite obvious. Also there are about 5 houses along the right side of the road at this curve.
6. Take CR289 - the light gray gravel road going straight ahead.
7. At the end of the last house surrounded by a brownish red pipe rail fence, take your immediate right onto CR290. (my street)
8. Continue straight on CR 290 for about 0.3 miles until you see a gray gravel drive on the right, marked with a blue and white street sign that says "Spirit Song Way". The numbers 840 are located on the mail box and the numbers 10262 are located on the corner wood post before behind the mailbox before you come to the driveway.
9. Turn right, come up the driveway to the stables parking area to the south side of the stables AND you have arrived!
B. From Dallas Love Field/Car Rental on Cedar Springs:
1. Depart Cedar Springs Rd/Herb Kelleher Way toward Howard Megredy Circle
2. Make a U-turn at Howard Megredy Circle
3. Turn left onto W Mockingbird Lane
