Hope you are keeping warm during this crazy cold spell!!Here are some happeningsfor the instrumental programthis week:
Monday, 1/8/2018
There isan in-school rehearsal for the 9th Grade and Symphonic Bands during periods 1 and 2. Students are toreport to the band room directly after homeroom (parents: please let your students know). Additional after-school rehearsals are as follows:
  • 9th Grade Band 5:00 - 6:15 pm.
  • Symphonic Band report time is 5:30 to rehearse first with the 9th Grade Band, and thencontinue withconcert rehearsal until 7:45 pm.
  • Wind Ensemble 8:00 - 9:15 pm.
Tuesday, 1/9/2018
Winter Concert 7:00 pm. Student report time is 6:00 pm. Look forward to seeing you all there!! Concert includes the 9th Grade Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and 8th Grade Band Showcase. Parents of students whose last names begin with A - K are askedto bring either on Monday or Tuesday individually packaged baked good to be sold at our concert bake table.
Wednesday, 1/10/2018
Jazz Ensemble 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm
Our jazz groups and winter guard (website: are hard at work preparing for upcoming concerts and competitions. Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to those events.
RAFFLE TICKETS: Please be sure to turn in your payments,sold ticket stubs and unsold tickets by January 8th. You don't want to miss out on your chance to winthe Beats Gift Package (Dr. Dre's Pill+ and Studio2 Wireless Over-the-ear Headphones). The raffle will be drawn at the January 9th winter concert (you need not be present to win) and proceeds from this raffle benefit all instrumental music students!
Please turn in your Designer Handbag Bingo order forms to join the fun on February 23rd. Tickets are $30, but $20 per ticket goes directly into your student's account. This is afantastic way to meet your student's commitment for this year plus build next year's trip account. I will be distributing tickets already purchased at this Wednesday's General Booster Meeting. If youare unable to attend, neverfear, I'll be in touch to make other arrangements.

  • We had one winner forWeek 17. Congratulations to June Bilcik for having the 6th highest scoring game card and winning$25 (ticket sold by Jovan Bilcik)!
