Speaker / Topic:
Robert C. Eisenmann - Donald E. Bently – The Man Behind The Achievements
Abstract: Robert C. Eisenmann's presentation will cover over 30 years of direct association with Don Bently as a Customer, Employee, and Consultant. Illustrated with historical photographs and peppered with many true stories, the discussion provides substantial insight into the professional and personal life of Don Bently and the evolution of the machinery condition monitoring. Eisenmann is a topnotch presenter and this promises to be an excellent event. According to Bob, "I originally prepared this presentation for the Triplex Chapter of the Vibration Institute in Beaumont, TX. I know the folks in Texas enjoyed it, and I trust that your VI chapter will also."
Bio:Bob Eisenmann has dealt with process machinery throughout his 51-year career. Since 1964 he has worked for Shell Oil, Northern Petrochemical, Dow Industrial, Endevco, Bently Nevada, Machinery Diagnostics, SulzerHickham, and GE Energy. Currently, he divides his time between Sulzer Turbo Services and Wilpat, Inc. providing machinery diagnostics training, and supporting the Cat IV course for Mobius Institute. Over the years, he has shared his acquired knowledge through lectures, technical publications, and the highly acclaimed 820-page book: Machinery Malfunction Diagnosis and Correction. He is a retired registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Nevada, and Texas, a lifetime member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and a mechanical engineering graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, with graduate work at the University of Houston.
