Responses to Written Questions

Q1)When did the County last do an AV upgrade?

A)The last major system renovation occurred in 2002. Please refer to Page 4 of the RFP, Section B (SCOPE/BACKGROUND).

Q2)What are the dimensions of the rooms?

A)Please refer to Page 5 through Page 17 of the RFP, Section D (SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS). The dimensions are the first bullet point in each section.

Q3)Is there a map of the wiring? If so, please provide a copy.

A)No maps of the wiring currently exist.

Q4)What is the required percentage the Prime is required to subcontract to a SLEB?

A)If the prime is not a SLEB, then the prime must subcontract 20% of the contract value to a SLEB.

Q5)Does the County have replacement ceiling tiles?

A)No, the County does not have replacement ceiling tiles for this project. Any tiles damaged during installation will be replaced at the vendor’s expense.

Q6)Page 6 of the RFP, Section D (SPECIFIC REQUIRMENTS), Item 3, states:

Is this a mandatory requirement or a general preference?

A)The Audio Visual Solutions Provider (AVSP) Emerald Certification requirement has been removed. All relevant experience and certifications must be included in the Key Personnel section of the Bid Submittal.

Q7) Can the County provide a list of model numbers for the equipment that is to be reused?

A7) Yes. Please see Exhibit E – Legacy Audio Visual Equipment.

Q8) Can the County provide an Updated SLEB listing?
