Examples of a 3 point response:

  • The author believes that wearing a seat belt is important. I know this because the article says seat belts save over 10,000 lives a year and he gives you the top four reasons why you should wear your seat belt.
  • The author believes a seat belt can save your life. I know this because he says that people that wear their seat belts are not thrown into another person or ejected from the vehicle, and people who wear seat belts are less likely to strike the steering wheel or windshield.
