PORTARLINGTON

At a recent St Andrew’s Worship committee meeting it was decided to trial a Mid-week Communion service, commencing Wed 4 April at 2.00pm. This will be for those on the communion remembrance prayer list and others who struggle to get to church by 9.00am.Indeed anyone who would like to attend.

It is envisaged that the service would be 30-45 minutes duration with an afternoon tea following in the church.

Pastoral carers, please see Joytodayfor invitation cards (thankyou Pammi) to take to those on your pastoral lists whom you think may wish to come to such a service and invite them along.

If other members of the congregation would like to invite a neighbour or friend, please see Joy for invitation cards.

Transport arrangements are still to be worked out.

Members of the WorshipCommittee believe this initiative can be an important outreach into our community, both for church members and others who may not be able to attend at 9am on Sunday mornings.
