12:00 p.m.Reading by Gerald Teaster, author of Spirit up the People - Four Days to the Cow Pens, Program Tent, followed by book signing.

2:00 p.m.Minute of silence and reading of names of the men who died in the battle and aboard the USS Cowpens, CVL-25. In front of the Visitor Center, at the US Monument.
2:10 p.m.Wreath-laying by CAR, DAR, and SAR chapters at 1932 US Monument in front of Visitor Center; welcome by the National Park Service.
3:00 p.m.Ranger-guided battlefield walk. Meet outside the Program Tent.
3:15 p.m.Musket drill for kids, to the right of the Visitor Center.
3:30 p.m.18th Century musket/rifle firing demonstration, near the tree line to the right of the Visitor Center.

4:30 p.m.18th Century cavalry demonstration, first stop on the battlefield trail.
5:00 p.m.Storytelling by Sheila Ingle program tent, preceded by book signing in the Visitor Center.
6:00 p.m.Guided lantern walks. These evening walks take you back in time to Morgan’s Camp on the night before the Battle of Cowpens. These programs last about 45 minutes and will depart from the Visitor Center at 6:00 and 6:30. Cookies and cider will be available in the Visitor Center after the lantern walks.

3:30 p.m.Ranger-guided battlefield walk. Meet outside the Program Tent.
5:00 p.m.Park and Visitor Center close.
*Up to 150 “Morgan’s Flying Army” medals will be given to the adults who participate in Morgan’s March and school-aged children and teens who walk the Green River Road with the Morgan’s March group. Must be present to receive medal.

- Books by featured authors are available for purchase in the Visitor Center, or you may bring your own to be signed.
- Please note that there will NOT be food available for purchase in the park. A roadside market is located outside the park’s main gate, and numerous restaurants are located in both Chesnee and Gaffney.
For your safety and that of the horses, park regulations prohibit visitors from getting within 6 feet of the horses.
