CONDUCT
•Alwaysstrivetoputapositivefaceandvoiceonrecoveryfrommentalhealthandsubstanceabusedisorders.
•Maintainhighstandardsofconduct, by treatingeachotherwithdignityandrespect.
•Reportandremoveyourselffromanyrealorperceivedconflictofinterest.
•Donotexploitpersonalrelationshipswithinthepartneringorganizationsforpersonalgain.
•Donotunderanycircumstancessexuallyexploitorharassotherindividuals.
•Donotactinanywaythatviolatesthecivil,legalorethicalrightsofothers.
•Worktoresistgossip,hearsayandrumors.
•Rememberthatintheeyesofthegeneralpublic,werepresentpeopleinrecoveryatalltimesandthatyouractionsinfluencehowthecommunityseestherecoverymovement.

•Strivetoensurethateachindividualinrecoveryfrommentalhealthand/orsubstanceabusedisorderswillbetreatedwithdignityandrespectinhis/herpersonalrecoveryprocess.
•Makeanefforttoseethatthepartneringorganizationsempowerrecoveringpeopleintheirphysical,emotionalandspiritualgrowthandprovideopportunitiesforthemtomakesignificantcontributionstothemselves,theirfamiliesandfriends,theircommunitiesandoursociety.
•Worktorepresentallpeopleinrecovery,especiallythosewhofeeltheyhavenovoice.

•Workundertheoverarchingpurposeforthisevent.
