Diploma in Theology and Ministry program is being offered by Queen’s Collegebeginning April 17th, 2015 in Clarenville. It is a weekend program designed for persons interested in learning more about Scripture, Christian belief, personal spiritual development and ministry. While the Diploma program will be of interest to all who seek to improve their understanding of theology and pastoral ministry, it will be of particular benefit to those who lead and belong to groups and committees in both the local and wider Church settings: Lay ministry, Lay readers, Christian Development/religious education directors, Sunday School personnel, Outreach workers, Youth workers, Vestry/Parish Council members, Leaders of Bible Study, those desiring to grow in faith and persons seeking a refresher course. Annual General Meeting

Our AGM will be held on Sunday, March 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Altar Guild

There will be a meeting on Sunday, March 22nd @ 9:30 a.m. in the Church Hall.

The Road to Easter – Children’s Liturgy and Meal

On Wednesday evenings, children and parents are invited to an object lesson pertaining to five (5) symbols on the road to Easter map.

The Parish hall will open at 5:30 p.m. Supper will be served at 6:00 p.m. A brief object lesson pertaining to the specific symbol will be taught by the Rector around 6:25 p.m. We warmly invite you to come and Journey with us!

Lasagna Supper

Our annual lasagna supper will be held on Friday, April 10th. at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall... the meal will consist of homemade lasagna, caesar salad, roll, dessert, tea and coffee. Tickets are available at $12.00 per adult and $6.00 per child under 12 years. and may be obtained by contacting Betty Hiscock at 834-4736; Sandra Squires at 834-8834 or the church office at 834-2336.

The Renewal Committee…

… composed of Robert Woolgar, Betty Hiscock, Susan Bonnell, Dave Glynn, and Norm Henderson, have met a number times since the Visioning Day held November 22, 2014. The focus of the meetings have been around the review of a report documenting the results from the Visioning Day. The committee have been focusing discussions around four key themes that came out of the report: Communications; Fellowship/ Community Outreach; Faith/ Worship; Youth and Family Focus. This review should be completed in March and recommendations will be brought forward to the Vestry and Parish for further discussion and input to help support setting clear goals and objectives that the Renewal Committee can action and engage other support within the Parish.
