· Member of a strategic-level counterintelligence detachment responsible for conducting investigations related to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
· Deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan between April 2007 – September 2007 to conduct counterintelligence investigations and liaison with Afghan authorities in support of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).
o Lead investigator in multiple low-level espionage and terrorism cases.
o Handled numerous walk-ins reporting information on insurgent activity, kidnappings, and WMD threats.
o Participated in an aggressive intelligence collection program that resulted in reports receiving high evaluations by US agencies and/or being prominently featured in internal NATO intelligence publications.
· Performed liaison with various European security and intelligence services, US agencies, and representatives from an assortment of military organizations.
· Conducted debriefings of NATO personnel returning from deployments in the Middle East and Africa.
