You must create a password in Password Self Service and answer the challenge questions by June 12, 2012

Password Self Service PSS– Creating a Universal Password

It will soon be possible to create a single password that will synchronize with several different applications, including Cerner PowerChart. It will be possible to use Password Self Service to change your password, retrieve a forgotten password, and take care of an expired password. Many physicians have already created a password in Password Self Service.
If you have not, find the icon for Password Self Service (PSS) on the desktop.
Click on the icon and enter your username, which is the same as your Portal/Cerner log in and enter your current password. If your portal/Cerner password does not workyou must call the ResolutionCenter at 7400 to get a temporary password. Create your new password immediately. There are six challenge questions, but only two will be presented if you should need to seek assistance from password self service. The password must be 8-12 characters long and contain at least one number and one lowercase letter. Since your new password will be synchronized with the PowerChart password, you will have to choose one you have not used in PowerChart before. Once you have created a password in Password Self Service, go into PowerChart using your usual log in username and password. From the Message Center go to Task in the upper right hand corner and select Change Password from the dropdown menu. Change your PowerChart password to match the new password you created in Password Self Service. / All medical staff are required to set up PSS challenge questions by June 12, 2012.
